PCA Award

From PCA number 4 onwards the Journal will award annually aPRIZE for the best single-authored paper submitted by young researcher (under 35 years of age).

Manuscripts should be submitted to editor@postclassical.itaccordance to the Guidelines for contributors before the end of october of each year.

An international committee will evaluate papers based upon their academic merit and innovative quality. The awarding committee consists of representatives from the PCA Editorial Board as well as external members, chaired by the Editor of PCA. The annual prize paper will be published in the Journal with special mention and the author will obtain a diploma and a complete series of PCA and PCA Studies published until the year of his/her nomination. The committee’s awarding decision on the annual prize will be final.

All postgraduate (masters and doctoral), as well as archaeologists working on research dissertations, (under 35 years of age) are eligible to apply. To be considered, please include a covering letter stating age and study status, along with the submitted paper.
